CCOT had the opportunity to participate in the Champion in Me – Inclusive Sports Meet 2025, an initiative aimed at promoting inclusion, equality, and accessibility for children and youth from vulnerable backgrounds. The event brought together children from various support and care centers across Bangalore, providing them with a platform to engage in sports and build confidence. Through this initiative, children from CCOT were able to take part in different sporting activities alongside peers from diverse backgrounds, including orphans, children living with HIV, and other vulnerable groups. The program focused on using sports as a tool for empowerment, helping children develop teamwork, resilience, and a sense of belonging.

Our children won 10 gold medals, 7 silver medals and 1 bronze medal. Participation in this sports meet encouraged the children to step beyond social barriers and experience the spirit of unity through sports. It also helped them gain exposure, interact with other children, and strengthen their confidence and self-esteem.
