Child Safety and Digital Trafficking
21st February 2026
We hoisted Child Safety and Digital Trafficking Workshop in Catholic Club with the leadership of Daniel Jabaraj and Ms. Sangeetha S. There were 72 members present during the workshop, who made the session very interesting with their ideas, curiosity and enthusiasm. The collective urge to learn and help children made session a hit. The workshop featured valuable contributions from Rev. Dr. Renny Samuel, who spoke on moral responsibility and proactive child safeguarding; Ms. Saranya Aaron, who addressed child trafficking and digital safety with a focus on prevention; Ms. Christy, who explained the POCSO Act and key legal responsibilities; and Ms. Aarthi Sachdev, who guided participants on trauma-informed responses for caregivers. After a brief snack break, the members present were offered lunch. It was truly amazing to see people of various backgrounds to gather and work towards to a common goal: to uplift the unfortunate children and bring stability into their lives. The workshop concluded with an interactive Q&A session, followed by a meaningful time of networking, connection, and fellowship lunch among participants.
